Successful Pier Day

Big THANK YOU to all members and friends of CYC that came during Pre- and Pier Day.

During Pre-Pier the old pier was disassembled and the good parts were reused in the week up to Pier day to build out a wonderful new pier. The big docks received a coat of linseed oil and were further prepared for the season.

On Pier day, the ladies of the club did a fantastic job and gave the clubhouse a good scrubbing, washed windows and prepared a wonderful meal. The grounds were cleaned, docks underwent some last minute repairs and launched together with the brand new pier. Finally the racks and the comittee boat were put in their spot. As a result of many hands, the work was completed in less then 4 hours before we enjoyed our meal together. (I'm sorry ladies, I did not snap any pictures of your hard work)

Again, great job everybody, let the sailing season begin!
